TERMS OF SERVICE AND SALE

These Terms of Service and Sale (the Terms) set out the conditions and procedure for using the online store coatera.lt (the Store), as well as the rights, obligations and liability of the Buyer and the Seller.

1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. By using the Store and/or buying products in it, the Buyer confirms that they have read these Terms, agree with them and undertake to comply with them.

1.2. Legally capable adults and legal entities have the right to buy in the Store.

1.3. The Seller may change or supplement the Terms at any time. A new version of the Terms takes effect when it is published in the Store.

2. ORDERING PRODUCTS AND CONCLUDING THE SALES CONTRACT

2.1. An order is placed in the Store when the Buyer selects products, fills the shopping cart and completes payment.

2.2. The sales contract between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded when the Buyer pays for the products and the Seller sends an order confirmation to the email address provided by the Buyer.

2.3. The Seller reserves the right to cancel an order if, due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. system errors or lack of stock), the products cannot be delivered, informing the Buyer immediately and refunding the amount paid.

3. PRICES AND PAYMENT

3.1. All prices in the Store are shown in euros (EUR) including value added tax (VAT).

3.2. Payment is made using the secure payment methods integrated in the Store (online banking, bank cards or other listed payment providers).

3.3. Delivery charges are not included in the product price; they are shown and calculated separately when placing the order.

4. DELIVERY

4.1. Products are delivered to the address provided by the Buyer or to a selected parcel locker / logistics terminal in Lithuania and EU countries (according to the delivery zones offered).

4.2. Delivery times are stated in the order confirmation. The standard delivery time in Lithuania is [1–3] business days from payment of the order.

4.3. When accepting a parcel, the Buyer must check the condition of the packaging. If the packaging is damaged, the Buyer must inform the courier immediately and record the damage in the acceptance report / photos.

5. RETURNS AND WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT (FOR CONSUMERS)

5.1. Natural persons (consumers) have the right to withdraw from the sales contract within 14 (fourteen) days of receiving the products, without giving a reason.

5.2. To return a product, the Buyer must contact us by email at info@coatera.lt and submit a return request in free form.

5.3. The returned product must be:

  • Unopened, unused and undamaged;
  • In saleable condition (labels, protective film etc. intact);
  • In its original, undamaged packaging;
  • Complete.

5.4. The direct costs of returning products are paid by the Buyer, except when a defective product or a product of inadequate quality is returned.

5.5. The money for a returned product is refunded to the Buyer within 14 days of the product being received and inspected at the Seller's warehouse.

6. PRODUCT QUALITY AND WARRANTY

6.1. All products sold in the Store are subject to the manufacturer's quality requirements and applicable laws.

6.2. Chemicals, waterproofing coatings, primers and sealants are subject to specific application, drying and coating requirements stated in the product technical data sheets (TDS). The Seller is not liable for defects caused by not following the product instructions or by improper surface preparation.

7. LIABILITY

7.1. The Seller is not liable for losses arising because the Buyer did not read these Terms or the product instructions.

7.2. The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the data provided (name, address, delivery information).

8. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

8.1. The Buyer's personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Store's Privacy Policy. Full information is available at coatera.lt/privacy-policy.

9. FINAL PROVISIONS AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

9.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

9.2. All disagreements or disputes are resolved by negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes are resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

9.3. The Buyer may submit a request/complaint about a product bought in the Store to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (VVTAT) or fill in the request form on the EU ODR platform: http://ec.europa.eu/odr/.
