Sealing tape for bathrooms

Designed for use with COATERA liquid waterproofing membranes. It is a critical element when building shower areas, bathrooms, balconies or terraces, making sure corners never crack or let water through as the structure moves.

• Designed for liquid waterproofing: The middle TPE part is fully waterproof, and the mesh/fabric side wings soak perfectly into the applied COATERA membrane, forming a monolithic, tear-proof layer.

• Extreme elasticity: Compensates for building settlement, temperature changes and structural movement (between wall and floor, in inner corners).

• Resistance to chemicals and ageing: Unaffected by acids, alkalis or salt solutions; it simply cannot rot or decay.

• Universal use: Suitable for indoor use (showers, bathrooms) as well as outdoors (balcony and terrace details).

💡 How it is used:

1. Apply the first coat of COATERA waterproofing to the corner.

2. Press this tape into the fresh coating (so that the mesh sinks into the waterproofing).

3. Once dry, cover everything with a second coat of waterproofing.
